Supported mobiles applications
The following apps are supported on Appaloosa:
Native applications are mobile apps built by your team or your partners/contractors. The app is installed directly from Appaloosa.
Recommended apps are links to public app stores. The app is installed from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Web apps are shortcuts to a website. The shortcut to the website is installed on the user's phone.

iOS
IPA file signed with a developper or enterprise certificate (required)
Screenshots (size informations) - PNG file
Banner for the native app store (640px x 312px) - PNG file, Max 1MB
Icon Guidelines (Apple Website)
If the app is an update to an existing app, both version numbers and build numbers should be incremented.
NB: if you're using Appaloosa on the Enterprise plan of with beta test features, we may unlock the possibility of uploading apps with a lower version and build number. Contact support @ appaloosa.io to get more information.

Webclip
Icon should not be bigger than 192px x 192px, PNG File
Other Metadata
App icons are extracted automatically from your apk or ipa file and should match Apple's XCode and Android Studio's requirements.
Catchphrase should not be longer than 255 characters.
Description should not be longer than 65 000 characters.
Step by Step for a new Application
1. Click on add a new Application and choose your app type:

2. Upload your application file
3. Maximise your app's adoption rate by filling the application details

4. Select the group(s) of users to whom you want to deploy

Uploading new versions

When adding an application update on Appaloosa, use the feature Add a new version.
Make sure that your version is incremented. On Android, this is android:versionCode
