Appaloosa allows you to distribute your Apple custom apps using Apple Business Manager.
You will use Apple Business Manager to provision redeem codes or licences for your users and Appaloosa will assign these codes or licences to your user when they install an application.
To setup your ABM Account:
Publish your custom apps to your App Store connect account and link the app to your ABM account, you can find more details in this guide
Once your application has been approved by Apple, it will be available in the Custom Apps section of your ABM account.
You need to provision redeem codes or licences for your user:
If you Appaloosa default iOS Mode, you need to order redeem code, once the order has been completed, please download your order containing your redeem code from the ABM account.
Download your content token from your ABM account. You can find more details about in this guide
Now link your Appaloosa account with ABM.
Navigate to your store settings, then Apple Business Manager
Upload your content token file (.vpptoken) and fill the email field with the email account used to retrieve your token so we can let you know when you need to update it.
Once that's saved, navigate back to your Application List, you will now find a Sync ABM apps on the top right corner.
You can now use this button to import your applications from ABM into Appaloosa
You now need to upload your redeem codes order to Appaloosa:
Select your application
Then select Redeem Codes
Upload your order in the Upload redeem code files field.
You will receive your email once your order import is complete.
Your application is now ready to be installed by your users.
Each time a user wants to install your application, he will be redirected to the App Store to automatically redeem a code and install your application.
