To enroll a ruggedized Android Enterprise device in device fully managed mode with Appaloosa you just have to proceed as with a classic device.

You have a few options, but here are the fastest one:

Use Android Zero touch

Use Android Zero Touch Enrollment (ZTE) to set Appaloosa as your EMM for your devices. As soon as the device will have internet connectivity the registration process will start and the device will be automatically added to your Appaloosa account.

Use a QR Code

Press 6 times on the Android setup screen to launch the QR Code scanner, then scan the QR Code that you will find on Appaloosa in the Settings and Advanced Android Mode tab. This QR Code contains the necessary information to enroll a managed device.

Once the QR Code is scanned the enrollment process will start and the user will be guided through the different steps.

When the enrollment is complete, the device configuration will be automatically applied according to the criteria defined on Appaloosa.

This enrollment method is valid for all Zebra, Honeywell, Datalogic, M3Mobile and other Android GMS or Android Enterprise Recommended devices.

If you want to customize the enrollment with tools like StageNow for Zebra or Startup PC for M3Mobile here is the information contained in the QR Code:

{

},

You can also generate your own QR Code containing a wifi network to avoid having to configure it by hand on each device by using this json and convert it to a QR Code:
