🎻 Classic mode: distribute your apps with simplicity
The classic method of distribution of Appaloosa allows you to provide private apps to end-users (employees, beta-testers, etc.) through a private app store (web or native).
✅ Your users can:
download and install your apps from a private app store (web or native)
🚫 Once your apps are downloaded by end-users, with the classic mode, you won't be able to:
remove your apps from the devices of your users
push app updates on the devices of your users
🛠 The classic method of app distribution is compatible with another MDM provider which may be already installed on your users devices.In a nutshell: a simple, quick and secure solution to distribute your apps, but no control over your apps.
🔬 Advanced mode: distribute and manage private apps
Just as with the classic mode, the advanced app distribution mode allows you to provide private apps to end-users (employees, beta-testers, etc.) through a private app store (web or native). Furthermore, you will be able to remotely manage your apps: push app updates or remove your apps from the device of a user.
✅ Your users will be able to:
install your apps from your private app store (web ou natif)
✅ And, as the entreprise app store administrator, you will be able to:
remove your apps from your users devices
or push update to apps already installed on your users devices
🛠 The advanced method of app distribution is NOT compatible with another MDM provider which may be already installed on your users devices.
🛠 The advanced mode of Appaloosa requires some setup on your administration interface before your users may benefit from it.In a nutshell: a simple way to install your apps for your users and advanced enterprise features to distribute and manage your apps for you.
